Are You Paranoid If They're Watching You?Well this is some creepy shit.
I was checking the incoming logs when I saw a link to
this page. Nothing to see there. It's a log-in screen.
So I googled the full name, and came up with this page:
link. There, he links to
this page.
To cut to the chase, the Arrca Netvocates are part of a system where a company hires these guys to troll websites. Stir up trouble and shit. Their employees post comments and make pains in the ass of themselves. As the guy says in the second link,
"So do people out there know that the guy behind NetVocates, a service that watches blogs and message boards then hires "activists and consumers who share the client’s views in order to reinforce those key messages on targeted blogs" is also the guy behind CustomScoop, a service that's getting some kudos in the blogosphere? Somehow I think people haven't noticed - what blogger would talk up a service that has a sister service that, basically, pays people to post comment spam?!"
Nice.
In his post, he says that the two people posted about Al Gore and an Inconvenient Truth.
What were they looking for on my page?
Take a look.
Assuming that page gets yanked, here's a screen cap of this blog, seen through their website, with the relevant keywords:

So, it looks like COCA-COLA is sending these guys to look for FAT TAX.
Here's the owner/founder of the company,
CHIP GRIFFIN.
You think that'll get some hits? Heh.
In any case, I'm a small fry that hit their radar and obviously, not worthy of counter-programming (unless Kero is being paid by them). But it's ironic, that in my original post, I mentioned what an obstacle that these doctors were up against.
As you can see, Coca-Cola is alreay hiring guys to wage "blog war". Now, if Coke is willing to go down to this level to fight their battle, how much do you think they're spending on the "big picture"? It's awe inspiring.
